Adidas - Then Now Forever /
Marketing giants Sid Lee brought together Pirates and Adidas Originals. We flew out to Copenhagen to spend 4 days giving a couple of shipping containers a paint job for Copenhagen fashion week. We spent 3 days painting in 3 different locations in the city. The idea we came up with was inspired by Adidas Originals latest slogan 'Then Now Forever' which is a social comment on Adidas' oldskool roots, its contemporary presence now and its part in fashions future. We created a constantly changing mural where layer upon layer of imagery built up on top of each-other so the containers looked different as time passed. We then stripped back with black paint to leave a super-crisp Logo at the end (all this on corrugated shipping containers!! keeping things neat and legible was a task in its self!!) On the 4th day the containers were tugged down the river for all to see while we recovered from the huge Adidas Party the night before, big up sleigh bells!!! It was a great few days and we can't wait to work with Adidas again. Huge thanks to all the guys at Sid Lee and Distortion.
